The core of downtown is a like a factory of worker bees that travel to the hive and produce honey all day long.  We travel, we pick up our beverage of choice and we work all day long in our fluorescent lit hives.  I am one of those worker bees and have been thinking for quite a long time how it would be like if we stopped? What if we stopped texting, checking our phones for more meetings and if we took a moment to connect with the other worker bees that are in the downtown core.  Don't even get me started on the awkward silent elevator rides.  Why have we chosen as a group to stop connecting with each other. What amazing things could independently as well as a group.  We are connected as a community even if we don't choose to recognize it.  You see the same people day after day, you get your coffee from your favorite barista boy or girl.  You get your lunch from the same restaurant.  Let's take the time to stop, breathe, connect and see who else is in the hive.  Who knows maybe they have more in common with you than you think.....

Change your behaviors and change outcomes, no matter how small or large, sometimes the smallest of changes are the most rewarding.
